Country: United States
Service: Feasibility Study & Funding
Industry: Food Service

Shortly after the Los Angeles riots of 1992, BrandAmerica created a program to assist minority-owned businesses reestablish themselves in the marketplace. A very successful example is Mamie’s Kitchen. In 1993, BrandAmerica was retained to evaluate the probability of opening a Southern cuisine restaurant and catering service in the inner city. The study concluded that the concept and location were feasible. BrandAmerica built the business model, wrote the plan and successfully secured funding from a local bank. Prior to selling his restaurant in 1998, the client had enjoyed a very profitable business and his regular clientele included high profile players from the Los Angeles Lakers and celebrities including Michael Jackson.

“I would like to commend you on the excellent catering job you put together for my daughter.”
