In 1994, Delta Cellular Distributors began feeling the economic impact
of the saturated telecom industry in the Southern California market.
Delta had been providing high-quality refurbished cellular phones to
the Los Angeles area for 10 years before the pressure to search out
other opportunities arose. With the U.S. market as a whole not far behind
Southern California, Delta turned its attention to Asia, a market of
vast opportunity – but worlds away.
